Red Fort – India

Red Fort Agra India

The UNESCO World Heritage Site in India, the Red Fort in Agra, was interestingly not always red – it was originally white! As per the Archaeological Survey of India, parts of the building were made of lime stone. When these started chipping off, the building was painted red by the British. Bet you didn’t know that!
