Wat Phra Si Sanphet Thailand

If you are heading over to Thailand, definitely stop by the Wat Phra Si Sanphet (“Temple of the Holy, Splendid Omniscient”) which was once the holiest temple in the old Royal Palace in the ancient capital of Ayutthaya until the city was invaded by the Burmese in 1767. The three stupas, also known as “Chedis”, housed the ashes of the former kings – one of them being featured in the picture below.
