Aitutaki – Cook Islands

Aitutaki

Aitutaki is one of the Cook Islands, north of Rarotonga and has a population of only around 2,000 citizens. It is well known for its lagoon, and its mini-islands are breathtakingly beautiful with sandy white beaches, tropical palm trees, shallow turquoise waters, beautiful corals, plethora of colored fish and blue skies that captivate your day. More specifically visit Tapuaetai (One Foot Island), a small islet that has been awarded “Australasia’s Leading Beach” at the World Travel Awards held in Sydney in June 2008
