Coffee Ceremony – Ethiopia

Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony

Are you an avid coffee drinker? ☕ If yes, did you know that Ethiopia in Africa is the birthplace of this amazing drink? According to ancient history, in AD 850 a goat herder called Kaldi observed his goats jumping around excitedly and bleating loudly after chewing these bright red berries in the Kaffa highlands. He himself tried them and felt a sense of elation. Grabbing a dozen he ran to his folk to announce his discovery – the humble beginnings of such a widely drunk beverage

If you are ever in Ethiopia, definitely check out their cultural coffee making ceremony as seen in the picture
