Neuschwanstein Castle – Germany

Neuschwanstein Castle.jpg

For those of you who want to experience a fairytale, where better to go then the Neuschwanstein Castle located in the Bavarian Alps, near the idyllic town of Fussen in Germany. It is absolutely mesmerising to gaze upon the Hohenschwangau valley, an extremely beautiful landscape filled with lush greenery. The castle in itself was neither built for a militaristic purpose nor a strategic purpose, but solely for King Ludwig to commemorate his favourite world-renowned composer Richard Wagner. The third and fourth floors especially are of significance as they include “The Singers Hall”, which reflect the admiration for Wagner’s operas and the characters found in them
