One of the most stunning sights in China is definitely found at the Red Beach in Panjin. While normally during the year it looks green, every autumn this beach by the Liaohe River delta turns a bright red caused by the sea weed called Sueda. Definitely don’t forget to bring your camera as you may also be able to capture a fantastic shot of the red crowned crane that is native to this place and amongst the rarest cranes in the world. Did you know that this beautiful animal is also known by the Chinese as a symbol of luck, longevity and fidelity? Fascinating!
