How many of you know about the amazing Baatara Gorge Waterfall in Lebanon? Located 2 hours from Beirut in Tannourine, it has 3 natural bridges connecting it. During the March or April months is the best time to visit, especially since the waterfall is supplied by the melting of the snow from the mountains. It falls at an impressive 255 meters into a sinkhole as you can see! Geologists say that this whole gorge is around 150 million years old and would’ve been there when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Can you believe it? It was discovered in 1952 by Henri Coiffait and was known then as the “Cave of Three Bridges”. What a wonderful natural beauty to see in Lebanon!
